چکیده

In this paper the two issues we address in developing an architecture for training are flexibility and ease of scenario generation. Flexibility is the need to make the architecture domain independent by investigating how the logic (dictating the scenario behaviour) is linked to the simulation environment (where the rendering, networking, etc., occurs). For the second issue we consider how to automatically generate training scenarios from expert systems (ES). Our architecture shows how an intermediary “events space” can be used to achieve flexibility by separating the logic from the simulation environment. To show the training suitability of the architecture we have developed a scenario on top of a prototype of the architecture to train new police recruits how to investigate vehicle accidents.

On Multiplayer Techniques for Crowdsourcing Mapping onto Custom Domain-Specific Architectures

One of the grand challenges in the design of portable/wearable devices is to achieve optimal efficiency and flexibility in a tiny low power package. Coarse-grained reconfigurable architectures (CGRAs) hold great promise for energy-efficient flexible designs for a domain of applications. CGRAs are very promising due to the ability to highly customize such architectures to an application domain. ...

Prediction of the Liquid Vapor Pressure Using the Artificial Neural Network-Group Contribution Method

In this paper, vapor pressure for pure compounds is estimated using the Artificial Neural Networks and a simple Group Contribution Method (ANN–GCM). For model comprehensiveness, materials were chosen from various families. Most of materials are from 12 families. Vapor pressure data of 100 compounds is used to train, validate and test the ANN-GCM model. Va...

ERIC: a generic rule-based framework for an affective embodied commentary agent

We present ERIC, an affective embodied agent for realtime commentary in many domains. The underlying architecture is rulebased, generic, and lightweight – based on Java/Jess modules. Apart from reasoning about dynamically changing events, the system can produce coherent natural language and non-verbal behaviour, based on a layered model of affect (personality, mood, emotion). We show how reason...

Query Architecture Expansion in Web Using Fuzzy Multi Domain Ontology

Due to the increasing web, there are many challenges to establish a general framework for data mining and retrieving structured data from the Web. Creating an ontology is a step towards solving this problem. The ontology raises the main entity and the concept of any data in data mining. In this paper, we tried to propose a method for applying the "meaning" of the search system, But the problem ...
